The People Who Make It All Possible

Born and raised in Draper, Utah, Janet has successfully owned and operated her own cleaning company for over 40 years, employing numerous individuals throughout her career.  As a mother of nine children, she has personally experienced the challenges of family, including the homelessness of one child due to drug addiction. For the past five years, she has dedicated herself to making and delivering soup to the elderly, sick, and local neighbors. Driven by a desire to make a broader impact, she was inspired to extend her efforts to serving the homeless, leading to the creation of My Hand to Yours.

Bert H. Page was born and raised in Bountiful, Utah, and later raised his family in Sandy and Murray. He currently resides in Salt Lake City with his wife, Janet, and their daughter, Quinn. A seasoned general contractor, Bert ran a successful construction company before transitioning to become the Building Manager for Bench Tower Condominium-a decision he considers one of the best of his Life. Driven by a profound desire to feed and assist the hungry and homeless, Bert is committed to making a positive impact in his community. He believes that his efforts can create a ripple effect, reaching many less fortunate individuals in need of support.

Sherry was born and raised in Draper, Utah. She has 2 brothers and 1 sister and 4 grown children that are married and she is currently enjoying her grandchildren. Sherry has an Interior Design degree and a real estate license. Sherry has started two successful businesses with the help of her partners. Sherry was Vice President of ABI Consulting (Drug testing Company) • Through Sales and marketing, she grew the company into a multi-million dollar business. • They sold the company to a fortune 500 company. Sherry was the Director of Marketing & Design TSI Construction Management • Created and cultivated all leads and sold houses to investors. • Met with clients individually coordinating all aspects of house construction and design. Sherry is currently teaching real estate investing to students all over the United States.

 

Kimberly Thurman is a cancer survivor whose journey reshaped her life. After being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, she endured months of treatment with unwavering determination, fueled by her desire to overcome the illness for her family and herself. Her own battle with cancer inspired her to dedicate her life to helping others. Now in remission, Her mission is simple: to bring hope and strength to those in need, ensuring that no one fights their battles alone.
